About the Journal

Journal of Business Analytics and Data Science (JBADS) is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal founded in 2025 that advances research at the intersection of business analytics, data science, and artificial intelligence. JBADS publishes rigorous and original contributions that develop, evaluate, and apply analytical methods to generate actionable insights and support timely, evidence-based decision-making across organisations, markets, and public institutions. The journal’s language of publication is English.
JBADS primarily publishes Research Articles and Review Articles, and all submissions undergo a double-blind peer-review process. The journal aims to ensure impartiality and academic quality by assigning at least two independent reviewers with appropriate expertise to each manuscript.
JBADS is committed to the principles of research integrity and publication ethics and follows internationally recognised standards and best practices, including COPE guidance and, where applicable, ICMJE recommendations. Studies requiring ethics committee approval (e.g., clinical, experimental, or research involving humans/animals) must clearly report the approval details (committee name, date, and decision/approval number) within the manuscript. Authors are responsible for securing permissions for any third-party material (e.g., figures, tables, instruments/scales) and for complying with copyright and intellectual property regulations. The journal may use plagiarism screening tools as part of its editorial checks.
Authors are expected to provide ORCID IDs and to include complete author affiliations and relevant submission metadata. All published articles must include an abstract and keywords in the language of the manuscript and comply with the journal’s formatting and reporting requirements.
